Real Steel is a No-Time Class that requires OEM steel shell, steel doors and steel fenders (except those originally manufactured in fiberglass, i.e., Corvette, Camaro in these cases must be factory original parts) Any & All ET Extenders (duck bills, pecker extenders will not be allowed)

 

 

• OEM Steel Doors
• OEM Steel Fenders
• Hood, bumpers, deck lids, trunk can be carbon/fiberglass
• OEM Side Door Glass & 1/4 Windows (No exceptions)
• Working OEM Style Street Legal Head & Tail Lights, no airbrushed or add-on fake BS that
• Factory Appearing Dash (Can be carbon fiber or fiberglass)
• No full tube chassis cars
• Wheel Base must be within 1” of factory specs
• SB 4.400 Bore Space MAX
• BB 4.84/4.90 Bore Space MAX
• Big Blocks: No Billet Heads / No Billet Blocks
• 15- or 17-INCH REAR DRIVE RADIAL DRAG TIRES ONLY (No Bias-Ply Slicks or Hard Tires):
• Maximum 15-Inch choices: Any 275 Radial or 28x10.5x15 Bracket Radial (or smaller)
• Maximum 17-Inch choices: Any 315 Radial or 29.5x10.5-17 Bracket Radial (or smaller)
• No Wheelie Bars
• 1/8th Mile – Scoreboards will be turned off!
• Chip Draw for each elimination round

REAL STEEL NO-TIME REQUIRED DECALS

 

CLASS SPONSOR DECAL:

"Arizona Race Company"" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side. (Bottom left-hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)"

 

"SERIES PRESENTED BY SPONSOR DECAL:

""FuelTech"" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the driver’s side. (Bottom right-hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield) Decals will be available during registration at the SCSN Event Trailer

 

SCSN TITLE SPONSOR DECAL:

""Comp Cams"" Decal must be placed on the upper windshield in the center

 

CLASS PRESENTED BY SPONSOR DECAL:

"RES" All rules subject to change at the sole discretion of the Class Directors"decal must be placed on the rear 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Side of Rear Wing in a highly visible location

 

SCSN SERIES DECALS:

SCSN Decals must be placed on both left & right sides of race car on the 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Side of Rear Wing in a highly visible location

 

All Decals will be available during registration at the SCSN Event Trailer

 

REGISTRATION:

All Real Steel No-Time racers must register at the SCSN Event Trailer before taking your car to tech.

 

CONTINGENCY PROGRAM & CONTINGENCY DECALS:

All contingency decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and organized fashion. Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified. Most decals are available at the SCSN Event Trailer, but in the event the SCSN does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer's responsibility to obtain the proper decals to be eligible for the Contingency payout.

 

RACE DAY POLICY'S

 

ELIMINATION'S:

Drivers will draw Poker Chips each elimination round to determine pairings

 

LANE CHOICE DURING ELIMINATIONS:

This will be determined on the Poker Chips that each driver will choose prior to each round

 

STARTING SYSTEM:

4-Tenths Pro Tree

 

AUTO-START:

The Auto-Start System will be turned on with a 7-sec timeout

 

BYE-RUNS:

Each racer can only receive one ""Bye-Run"" during the pairings draw (This does not include if you draw a racer that is broke or can't make the call to lanes) All vehicles must still take the tree during any single run
