Williams Motorsports Joins the SCSN as Sponsor for LiL Gangstas Class
LAS VEGAS— Street Car Super Nationals welcomes Williams Motorsports as the new Sponsor for the LiL Gangstas Class
Patrick Williams, owner of Williams Motorsports, has 30 years of engineering, mechanical, and semiconductor experience in the private and public sector. He has traveled around the world 4 times to build teams to install semiconductor equipment for a Fortune 500 company.
Based in Northern California, the Williams family has been in the racing, automotive, and car audio field for over 30 years. Patrick’s first drag racing car was a 1965 Malibu Chevelle. He raced it at Yello Belly Drag Strip and in the streets Dallas, Texas. Today, Patrick owns a racing team called “At The Cross Drag Racing,” which is a Christian based race team. He runs a bracket car (truck) called Lil Red, that is a 10.60 car and it is deadly in the bracket world. He has won one first, six second, one third place trophies while racing with the West Coast Pro Gas Association.
Racing has been in the Williams family for over 60 years and was inspired by Ralph Williams who instilled this passion in his three sons, Patrick, Raphell, and Reggie. Ralph was a legend in the Texas streets for his street cars and his performance at Yello Belly Drag Strip in Dallas, Texas, and at Cedar Creek Dragway in Henderson County, Texas. He passed on all of his knowledge of building cars and engines to his sons. Currently, Reggie Williams performs independent contract work specializing in LS swaps of all kinds. He also races a N/T Grudge S10 truck.
