ST. LOUIS — The Premier Street Car Association, sanctioning body for the legendary Street Car Super Nationals, announced the renewal of its partnership with Gateway Classic Cars, headquartered in O’Fallon, Ill. The union continues Gateway’s role as the Official Classic Car Dealer of the PSCA and SCSN.
PSCA President and SCSN promoter Mel Roth said he’s thrilled to see the relationship continue.
“The Street Car Super Nationals has some of the most incredible pieces of Detroit muscle you’ll see at a drag strip,” Roth said. “At Gateway Classic Cars, you can go to one of their 18 showrooms and not only see those same cars in stock form, but buy them! I can’t tell you how many people have told me they were stunned to see how inexpensive their dream car is.”
Gateway is the world’s largest classic/exotic car dealership since their launch in 1999. Is there a car you’ve had your eye on? Maybe the car you

LAS VEGAS—The Premier Street Car Association (PSCA) announced today that Red Tide Canopies, based out of Salt Lake City, has been named as the Official Canopy Supplier for both PSCA and its signature event, the Nitrous Outlet Street Car Super Nationals Presented by FuelTech. SCSN, now in its 15th year, returns to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Nov. 21-24.
Founded earlier this year, Red Tide Canopies is a product made by racers, for racers, said owner Josh Minson. A regular SCSN competitor, he said PSCA & the Street Car Super Nationals are ideal venues in which to market their product. “I’ve been racing the Street Car Super Nationals, this will be my fourth year in November and it’s one of those events I just look forward to because it’s just fun!” Minson said.
The racers are cool and the level that (PSCA President) Mel Roth and his team has put that event to, it just made sense to partner with them. When he came to me and asked if I wanted to partner with them, I said ‘Yeah, I’m totally down to work with the PSCA!’ We’re here to give the racers and the fans a price point that’s affordable. “There are many competitors in this arena we have to compete with. There’s the cheap guys, then there’s the really cheap guys, and then the guys who charge astronomical prices for the same we offer for a lot less money.” Roth said.
Red Tide Canopies will have a pit full of customers at every PSCA event. “You don’t think about stuff like custom canopies and the promotional items Red Tide offers until you need it,” Roth said. “Instead of going somewhere like Walmart, where the product isn’t quality, or somewhere where you’re going to spend a ton, you can come over to their booth at the track or contact online, get what you need and know you are working with the best of the best!”
