 PRO STREET

OVERALL CLASS DESCRIPTION

Pro Street is a heads-up 1/8th mile heads-up class for Real Door Cars on any size bias-ply slick! The class features no Clocks and Drivers will determine who they race during eliminations by drawing Poker Chips prior to each round.

REAL DOOR CARS ONLY:

You must have a Real OEM or Factory Replacement “Door Car” with Steel Roof and Steel Quarter-Panels

➢  Weights

  • 2900lbs Minimum weight Big Block Boost (car & driver)
  • 2700lbs Minimum weight Big Block Nitrous/Small Block Boost (car & driver)
  • 2600lbs Minimum weight Big Block NA/Small Block Nitrous (car & driver)

➢ Any size rear tire is allowed

➢ Any chassis permitted

➢ Track will be prepped for Bias Ply Tires

➢ 1/8th Mile – Scoreboards will be turned off!

➢ Chip Draw for each elimination round

PRO STREET REQUIRED DECALS

CLASS SPONSOR DECAL:

“TBD” decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side. (Bottom left-hand side when

looking at front of vehicle windshield)

SERIES PRESENTED BY SPONSOR DECAL:

“FuelTech” decal must be installed on base of windshield on the driver’s side. (Bottom right-hand side

when looking at front of vehicle windshield) Decals will be available during registration at the SCSN Event

Trailer

SCSN TITLE SPONSOR DECAL:

“Gateway Classic Cars” Decal must be placed on the upper windshield in the center

CLASS PRESENTED BY SPONSOR DECAL:

“” decal must be placed on the rear 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Side of Rear Wing in a

highly visible location

SCSN SERIES DECALS:

SCSN Decals must be placed on both left & right sides of race car on the 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Side

of Rear Wing in a highly visible location

All Decals will be available during registration at the SCSN Event Trailer

REGISTRATION:

All Pro Street racers must register at the SCSN Event Trailer before taking your car to tech..

CONTINGENCY PROGRAM & CONTINGENCY DECALS:

All contingency decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and organized fashion.

Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified. Most decals are available at the SCSN Event

Trailer, but in the event the SCSN does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer’s responsibility to

obtain the proper decals to be eligible for the Contingency payout.

RACE DAY POLICY’S

SCALES:

After each qualifying and elimination pass, all cars must stop and weigh at the track scales. If you lose in eliminations, and your opponent fails to make weight you will be reinstated into the eliminations only if you made minimum weight requirements. If both cars failed to make minimum weight, both cars will be disqualified. It is the driver’s responsibility to verify with each track scale, the weight of his/her car prior

to each race day. There will 5lb error factor allowed.

TOW BACK & TOW VEHICLES:

All Pro Street entries can tow to staging lanes and to the track scales with a golf cart or other similar small tow vehicle. All carts will be subject to search by a SCSN Official at any time.

ALTERNATING LANES DURING QUALIFYING:

Each Pro Modified driver must alternate lanes during qualifying. If you choose to ignore this rule, your second consecutive pass in the same lane on the same day will be disqualified.

ELIMINATION’S:

Drivers will draw Poker Chips each elimination round to determine pairings

LANE CHOICE DURING ELIMINATIONS:

This will be determined on the Poker Chips that each driver will choose prior to each round

STARTING SYSTEM:

4-Tenths Pro Tree

AUTO-START:

The Auto-Start System will be turned on with a 7-sec timeout

BYE-RUNS:

Each racer can only receive one “Bye-Run” during the pairings draw (This does not include if you draw a racer that is broken or can’t make the call to lanes) All vehicles must still take the tree during any single run
