class rules / LAS VEGAS Big Tire / No-Time

OVERALL CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Hughes Performance Big Tire / No-Time Presented by Forty1Thirty & Team Boddie is a heads-up 1/8th mile class for Door Cars Only that feature no Clocks and Drivers determine who they will race by drawing a Poker Chip prior to each round. Cars may utilize full tube chassis or back half chassis.

 

DOOR CARS ONLY

 

If you have a Steel Roof and Steel Quarter-Panels there are no rules

 

Carbon Fiber/Fiberglass ProMod Style Cars with a 5.2 or 5.3 based Nitrous combination or any boosted combination you must run a 33x10.5w or smaller "Bias Ply" Rear Drive Tire / Screw Blown or Twin Turbo Hemi must weigh a minimum of 2900lbs

 

Carbon Fiber/Fiberglass ProMod style cars with a 5.0 based Nitrous combination or smaller bore- space engine, any rear drive tire permitted

 

BIG TIRE / NO-TIME REQUIRED DECALS:

 

CLASS SPONSOR DECAL:

"Hughes Performance" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side. (Bottom left hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)

 

EVENT SPONSOR DECAL:

"Forty1Thirty" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the drivers side. (Bottom right hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)

 

SCSN SERIES DECALS:

"SCSN" Decals must be placed on both left & right sides of race car on the 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Rear Wing in a highly visible location

 

SCSN SERIES SPONSOR DECAL:

"SpecRite" & "Unlimited Products" Decal must be placed on the rear 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Side of Rear Wing in a highly visible location

 

 

All Decals will be available during registration at the SCSN Event Trailer

 

REGISTRATION:

All Big Tire / No-Time racers must register at the SCSN Event Trailer before taking your car to tech....

 

CONTINGENCY PROGRAM & CONTINGENCY DECALS:

All contingency decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and organized fashion. Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified. Most decals are available at the SCSN Event Trailer, but in the event the SCSN does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer's responsibility to obtain the proper decals to be eligible for the Contingency payout.

 

RACE DAY POLICY'S

 

ELIMINATION'S: Drivers will draw Poker Chip prior to each elimination round to determine pairings & lane

 

LANE CHOICE DURING ELIMINATIONS: This will be determined on the Poker Chips that each driver will choose prior to each round

 

STARTING SYSTEM: 4-Tenths Pro Tree

 

AUTO-START: The Auto-Start System will be turned on with a 7-sec timeout

 

BYE-RUNS:

Each racer can only receive one "Bye-Run" during the pairings draw (This does not include if you draw a racer that is broke or can't make the call to lanes) All vehicles must still take the tree during any single run

 

TIME TRIALS:

TT-1 / Thursday Nov 15th at 11am

TT-2 / Friday Nov 16th at 10am

TT-3 / Friday Nov 16th at 3:00pm (Subject to Change)

 

ELIMINATIONS:

Poker Chip Draw Saturday Nov 17th at 9:30am (SCSN Trailer) E-1 / Saturday Nov 17th at 10am

E-2 / Saturday Nov 17th at 3:00pm (Subject to Change)

E-3 / Sunday Nov 18th at 9:30am

E-4 to the Finals will be posted on Sunday Run Schedule
