class rules / LAS VEGAS Calvert Racing Non-Electronics Bracket

The Calvert Racing Non-Electronics Bracket class is designed for all vehicles with no "BRACKET-RACING ELECTRONICS/ELECTRONIC-THROTTLE-STOP/DELAY-BOX”. SCSN events are 4 days, Thursday & Friday are optional but will feature time trials (1-Thurs & 2-Friday) On Saturday, you will get 1 Time Trial Pass followed by at least 1-round of eliminations... Buy-Backs will be available for $20 (Collected in the lanes when Buy-Back Round is called) Eliminations times will be posted at the SCSN Event Trailer.

 

RULES & REGULATIONS:

Non-Electronics Bracket uses a " 5/10ths Sportsman Tree" start system. All vehicles using no bracket racing electronics are welcome to run this class... Any modifications, any tires, any vehicle weight, or power adders are allowed. Delay boxes, Crossover boxes, and/or any "reaction-time related" electronic aids are prohibited.... Auto-Start will be on

 

ELECTRONICS POLICY:

The Following Devices are Illegal: (And Have to be Completely Removed From Car)

*Electronic / or any Remotely Activated Throttle Stops

*Optical Sensors / Stutter Boxes

*Delay Boxes / Cross-Over Boxes

*Any and All "Traction Control Devices" Unless Factory OEM Equipment

 

BUY-BACKS:

You can buy back after a 1st round elimination loss (Time Permitting). Buy-Backs will race other Buy-Backs with winners advancing to Round-2. The Buy-Back fee is $20, and you must have cash in the lanes when the Buy-Back call is made

 

BYE-RUNS:

During 1st round of eliminations, the best reaction time from the 3-days of "Time Trials" will get the provisional bye-run (Only if an odd number of cars occurs) During the 2nd Round, the previous rounds "Best Reaction Time" will receive the provisional bye-run when an odd car count occurs.... After the conclusion of the 2nd round, remaining competitors will be put on an elimination ladder based on best

reaction time in the 2nd round of eliminations

 

REGISTRATION:

All Non-Electronics Bracket racers must register (Please bring your NHRA Track Tech Card with you) at the SCSN Event Trailer before taking your car to tech....

 

TOW VEHICLES:

Non-Electronics Bracket allows tow vehicles in the staging lanes. You can tow your vehicle back to the pits at the conclusion of your run after exiting the racing surface.

 

CLASS SPONSOR DECAL:

"Calvert Racing" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side. (Bottom left-hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)

 

SERIES PRESENTED BY SPONSOR DECAL:

 

"FuelTech" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the driver’s side. (Bottom right-hand side

when looking at front of vehicle windshield) Decals will be available during registration at the SCSN

Event Trailer

 

SCSN TITLE SPONSOR DECAL:

"Comp Cams" Decal must be placed on the upper windshield in the center

 

SCSN SERIES DECALS:

SCSN Decals must be placed on both left & right sides of race car on the 1/4 Window, 1/4 Panel or Side

of Rear Wing in a highly visible location

 

WINNERS CIRCLE PICTURE & CONTINGENCY VERIFICATION:

Non-Electronics Winner & Runner-up must return to the SCSN Winners Circle Area for Official

Photographs and Contingency Verification. Failing to do so, will result in loss of all contingency monies

earned. There are no exceptions!!!

 

CONTINGENCY PROGRAM & CONTINGENCY DECALS:

In order to receive Contingency Monies from any of the listed Contingency Sponsors, you must have the

correct product listed and matching Contingency Decal for that product on your car for the entire SCSN

 

Racing Event... Racers will be checked for Products & Decals while be teched in and winners & runners-

up again will be checked in the Winner's Circle after the conclusion of each event. Winners & Runner-

ups failing to show up for this mandatory Inspection will forfeit all Contingency Money that is owed!!!!

 

All Contingency Decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and organized fashion.

Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified. Most decals are available at the SCSN Event

Trailer, but in the event the SCSN does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer's responsibility to

obtain the proper decals to be eligible for the Contingency payout.

 

Once Your Vehicle Passes Tech Inspection, There Are No Refunds

$1000.00 to Win

$250.00 Runner-up

$100.00 Semi's

 

$20 Buy-Backs permitted after 1st round loss only

 

Class Entry Fee: $50 (Plus $80 Weekend Track Tech Card)

 

 

All drivers and vehicles must meet current NHRA and track requirements.
